After humiliating the Grizzlies through his trash talk and shooting performances against the Lakers in the playoffs, the Memphis Grizzlies don’t intend to resign Dillon Brooks. He was shooting horribly especially in their 40 point loss against the Lakers in game 6 which they eliminated them. The Lakers humbled Brooks and led to the Grizzlies decision on what to do with him.
He made a comment about LeBron saying ‘I don’t respect someone unless they drop 40’. The funny part about this is that karma hit him and the Grizzlies were eliminated by 40 points. I think they are taking the right step here and not resigning Brooks. They need to spend their money on the upcoming free agents, especially on someone like Brook Lopez or even Kyrie if they can afford them.
